New bike-share program offers cycling to all

Using the new Atchison County Bike Share is as easy as checking out a library book.

“Our goal for the Atchison County Bike Share program is to encourage cycling as a mode of transportation as well as recreation,” LWLA Executive Director Andrea Clements said in a release in August. The bike share was opened to the public on Sunday, in conjunction with the opening of the South Atchison Trail.
